Grimston House is the smaller of our two homes: twenty-one residents, opposite the gardens it takes its name from, and a short walk from the town centre and the Leas clifftop. Being small is rather the point. There is one household here, not wings and corridors, and the staff know everyone's tea order.
The conservatory catches the afternoon sun, the garden is well tended, and a lift serves every floor. Rooms are mostly en-suite, and every one has a television point, a phone point and a nurse call button at the bedside.

Settled routines and staff who learn a person's history, overseen by Marcella, a Registered Mental Nurse.
Respite and short stays
A week or a fortnight while a family carer takes a break, subject to availability. Discharge teams can ring the office direct.
