St Claire's is our larger home, registered for thirty-nine residents on Claremont Road, close to the town centre. Four lounges mean there is always somewhere quiet and somewhere sociable, and two passenger lifts reach every floor.
Outside there are two secluded gardens that wheelchairs get around easily. Rooms are single, with one companion room for couples, and residents are welcome to bring a well-behaved pet by arrangement.

Dementia care
Mild and moderate dementia care, with settled routines, reminiscence sessions and staff who learn a person's history.
Respite and short stays
A week or a fortnight while a family carer takes a break, subject to availability. Discharge teams can ring the office direct.
From day one the staff were amazing. Happy, friendly and caring. Nothing was too much trouble. It did not matter what time of day I visited, I was always made welcome.
